Seeking study opportunities

14 September 2017

A delegation from China recently visited the Pearson Institute for Higher Education in Ashlea Gardens Pretoria, to talk about study opportunities for Chinese nationals in South Africa.

A number of high-ranking Chinese politicians, including Li Jingtian and SU Xiaoyun, both members of the standing committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China, along with the educational counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, Song Bo, were in the delegation.

Li is chairman of the ethnic affairs committee of the NPC. They were addressed by leading Pearson academic lecturers, including Dr Farhana Paruk, Pearson director, as well as Unisa's Professor Dirk Kotze.
