Nusa Dua Bali to host Indonesia-Africa Forum 2018

Bali is one of the thousand islands making up the Indonesian Archipelago that has long been famous as a leading tourist destination in the South Pacific or even in the world for its exotic and vibrant art and culture, natural beauties and the hospitality of the people. Furthermore, Bali is an island located in the central part of Indonesia that is famous as a beautiful tourist spot. Various tourists from all over the world admire the beauty of Bali and flock to come to visit. Many nicknames have been given to this small island such as : Island of Thousand Temples, Morning of the World, Paradise Island, Island of Gods and The Island of Peace.

 

From 10-11 April 2018, Bali will host the first ever the Indonesia-Africa Forum.

 

 

 

The forum seeks to provide space for dialogue between countries in the African continent and Indonesia. 40 private and state-owned companies in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food and beverages,  strategic industry, sanitary, hospitality, constructions and services are scheduled to meet their partners from Africa.   

 

Indonesian Embassy in Pretoria has invited business partners, traders, chambers of commerce, academician in South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho to gather, interact and explore ways to establish concrete economic cooperation and expand business networks.  It is such a great opportunities for Indonesian companies such as PT. Kimia Farma, Wijaya Karya, GMF Aero Asia, INKA to meet, share views and exchange ideas on how to better advance economic relations with their partners in South Africa, Botswana Lesotho and Swaziland.

 

The forum that will be opened by the President of Indonesia aims to explore various economic opportunities, to strengthen technical cooperation, and to enhance existing partnership between Indonesia and African countries including South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland. IAF intends to provide a unique opportunity of business society, high level government officials and other attending stakeholders to overcome barriers in economic cooperation, especially in trade and investment.

 

It is a right time for Indonesia and South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland to strengthen economic cooperation. Welcome to the new age of relationship. Welcome to Indonesia-Africa Forum 2018.
