Former US President Clinton visits Clinton Foundation Projects in Kenya

Former US President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton visited several Clinton Foundation projects in Kenya from 1st May to 3rd May 2015.These Clinton Global Initiative projects improves the lives of thousands of people across Kenya. Former US President Clinton’s visits are part of a larger trip by President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton that includes Tanzania, Liberia, and Morocco. On May 2nd former President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton were greeted by over 5,000 secondary school scholars Fly program, part of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) commitment “Investing in Kenyan Youth and Women at the Kasarami Stadium in Kenya. On his way to Kenya Clinton stopped over at the Nainokanoka Dispensary in Ngorongoro in Tanzania, another project implemented by the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

On May 3rd, Former President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton flew to the Samburu National Reserve and visited the Save the Elephants Research Center. Save the Elephants is a partner in a Clinton Global Initiative (CGI )Commitment to Action launched in 2013 called Partnership to Save Africa’s Elephants. Save the Elephants is currently tracking around 100 elephants in Africa.
