South African Royal Princesses Network Imbizo

On the 15th of November, the South African Royal Princesses Network (SARPN), in partnership with Freedom Park, held its Imbizo at Freedom Park. The gathering brought together Royal Princesses from across the country to engage in meaningful dialogue about how they can offer greater assistance to their communities, with a particular focus on supporting and empowering individuals affected by gender-based violence.
The Princesses further explored strategies for community upliftment and sustainable empowerment. They were also privileged to be sponsored with healthy beverages and wellness massages. Prof Katerere of Niselo engaged the delegates on how they can empower themselves and their communities through his products and knowledge systems, offering valuable insights and solutions.
During the Imbizo, a new structure for the Network was created as part of the organisation’s ongoing growth and strengthening.

Princess Nandile Ndamase of the amaMpondo Kingdom in Mfundisweni, Eastern Cape, was officially appointed as the Chairperson of the South African Royal Princesses Network. This was a unanimous vote of confidence from all members present.
Princess Eurika Mogane from the Mogane Royal Family and Mogane Traditional Council, Mpumalanga Province, was appointed as the Secretary General of SARPN.
Princess Malesedi Rakgokong from the Venda Kingdom was appointed as an additional member.
Princess Thandisizwe Nandipha Bhushula from the Eastern Cape, Lusikisiki, and Headwoman of the Bhushula Family was appointed as Head of Programs.
Princess Tshegofatso Maubane from the Bakgatla Ba Mocha in the North West was appointed as Head of Business and Community Development.
Princess Selowe Modjadji from the Balobedu Queendom was appointed as Head of Events and Conferences.
Princess Mongwadi Langa from the Langa Royal House in Bakenburg, Limpopo, was appointed as Head of Policy Development and Advocacy.
Princess Lusanda Makinana from the Xhosa Kingdom of Phalo. AmaRharhabe Kingdom (AmaNdlambe) was appointed as Head of Finance and Administration.

The Imbizo was a deeply positive, empowering and successful occasion. It was a testament to the strength, unity and purpose of Royal Princesses working together for the advancement of their communities. The day highlighted the commitment of SARPN to building a progressive, impactful and solution-driven network focused on social development, gender-based violence advocacy and cultural leadership.
With renewed energy, a strengthened structure and a shared vision, the South African Royal Princesses Network is poised to move forward with greater progressiveness, collaboration and influence. The future of SARPN is one of growth, innovation and meaningful contribution to communities across the country.
