The Promotion Conference of the 112th Canton Fair was organised together with the Black Business Council, Business Unity South Africa and the the China Foreign Trade Center. It encouraged South African businesses to participate in an event regarded as the world’s largest import and export fair taking palce in Guangzhou in China in October and November 2012. 

Nepal is a country on the move with a rapid growth rate of 4.7 percent since 2009. According to “Ease of doing business 2012” the annual flagship publication of the World Bank, the country is ranked  107th position out of 183 economies. The country moved three positions up from 110th in 2011.

The word Sri Lanka is associated with a tea beverage rather than with anything else. "Ceylon Tea" or "Sri Lankan tea" is still regarded as a sign of quality throughout the world. At present over one million Sri Lankan are directly and indirectly, employed in the tea industry. The Sri Lankan tea sector remains one of the most important foreign exchange earners for the country. In the year 2010 it earned a revenue of US $ 1.4 billion (Estimates). Quality improvement and energy saving are major priorities within the actions of improving the tea industry. It was an appropriate time to renew contacts and discuss problems of mutual interest related to the tea industry in Sri Lanka.
