African Parliament - A Landmark Building

According to Sam Fidelis, Head of the Pan African Parliament Building Initiative, consultations with stakeholders from all over Africa are at an advanced stage for the construction of a landmark Parliamentary precinct for Africa. Silver Vanity, an investment consortium of the National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NAFCOC), the oldest and largest African Chamber of Commerce, is set to start construction in 2013.

Funding for the construction of this state of the art precinct is already in place. The structure will house all the modern amenities including a hotel, residential and recreation area.

Located at the current African Parliament complex in Midrand in the heart of Gauteng, it is situated ideally between the political centre, the Capital City of Tshwane and the thriving commercial hub of Johannesburg in South Africa.

South Africa's stable, vibrant and young democracy and its consensus building international influence is a combination that has propelled its global stature with memberships in organizations like BRICS, IBSA, G20 and others.

Lawrence Mavundla, President of NAFCOC has expressed his delight and excitement and has invited all the African stakeholders for their inputs as this landmark project will be a symbol of Africa's unity in all its diversity.
