China's Zhengzhou Airport to promote business with culture
Expanding the port area's economy and trade to take the road of international development

Recently, Mr. Tao Zhigang, a member of the European and American Scholars Association of Henan Province and chairman of Henan Overseas Industrial Development Co., Ltd., told BRICS Financial Media that China's Zhengzhou Airport Area (hereinafter referred to as the Airport Area) plans to invite Ms. Lin Laihao, the leader of the Thai overseas Chinese community, the senior consultant of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, and the founding co-chairman of the Haihua Association, to visit the airport.
Mr. Tao said: I am especially looking forward to the visit of Chairman Lin and his entourage, and hopes that through the exchange of business people from Thailand and China, more internationally renowned enterprise delegations can be driven to visit, and enter substantive business negotiations for different enterprises and institutions in the airport area.
Zhengzhou is the leader of Henan Province's economic development, and the airport area is the dragon's eye on the dragon's head. Sun Zhigang, member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor, concurrently serves as the secretary of the party committee of the airport area, which shows that the Henan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the development of the port area. On April 27, 2023, at the 2023 annual work conference of Zhengzhou Airport, the whole area was divided into 21 urban functional areas, namely Beigang City, Digital Port, Future City, University City, Window of the Central Plains, Aviation Hub Port, Logistics Park, Aerospace City, Convention and Exhibition City, High-speed Rail Port, Ancient City Area, Creative Fashion City, Intelligent Manufacturing City, Garden Expo Park International Eco-City, Central Plains Medical Science City, Metropolitan Central Park, Automobile City, Electronic City, Vocational Education City, International Inland Port, and Biomedical City.
Focusing on the concept of green ecology, the airport area has successively built three major urban parks, namely Garden Expo Park, Shuanghe Lake and Yuanling Ancient City, as well as a number of water systems and parks such as Meihe River and Lanhe River, with a total greening area of 33 million square meters and a green coverage rate of 36% in the built-up area, basically forming a "green, smart, ecological and livable" garden ecological urban area.
